We are seeing increased demand on Vancouver Island, in Powell River, and on the Sunshine Coast. More drivers are needed to help get people where they need to go.
Drivers should consider this as a business opportunity. By investing the time to be available to take rides, demand will increase in the area you serve. It may be slow at first, but as people know that we offer a reliable service in your area, they become regular riders. Summer is the peak season for travellers visiting the areas we serve, but we are also seeing increased demand in the shoulder season.
Overall drivers earn an average of $1 per km for all km when driving on our system, this includes deadhead and distance with passengers on board. Payments are calculated based on 66% to 80% of the fare the rider pays after we deduct a booking fee to cover fixed expenses. Riders can tip in the app to help boost your earnings and we pass 100% of tips on to the driver.
We are a small local business, we’re looking for people who want to create a great service and generate a great business opportunity for drivers, let’s work together and make it happen.
