Ride hailing is finally here in British Columbia. While industry giants from the United States, like Uber and Lyft, are setting up their services, smaller local companies like Coastal Rides are already set up and on the road. People on the Sunshine Coast, in the Comox Valley and up in Prince George can now book trips with Coastal Rides.

The Sunshine Coast is a region of the southern mainland coast of British Columbia, Canada, on the eastern shore of the Strait of Georgia, just northwest of Greater Vancouver. These are the traditional territories of the Squamish (skwxwú7mesh), Sechelt (shíshálh), Sliammon (tla’Amin), and Kla’hoose First Nations.
